The Indianapolis Colts have placed cornerback Marlin Jackson on injured reserve and filled his roster spot by signing free agent defensive end Josh Thomas.

The club also announced that on Thursday wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez underwent arthroscopic right knee surgery to "clean out loose particles" and safety Bob Sanders visited Dr. James Andrews to get an opinion on the left elbow injury Sanders suffered on Sunday against San Francisco.

Okay, so now the Colts are going to be taken down a notch or two, and at 7 - 0 the field is going to be somewhat leveled a bit. Last weeks dismal performance could be followed with even worse. . . This week they face Houston, who historically have given the Colts some problems. Their time as undefeated may indeed be ending right soon. . .

Did anyone see the special ceromonies for "Sweetness" Walter Payton at the half time last week, honoring the 10th anniversary of his death?

It was pretty cool.... 8)

The Colts are 9 - 0 and should be 8 - 1, but for a massive brain fart by the Patriots last night! It's a wonder there wasn't a mass die off of Colts fans due to the resultant overwhelming amounts of methane produced by Belichicks flatulence!

Down 31 -14 early in the 4th quarter, I personally had written off the Colts. Manning had a bad case of the chokes, throwing what the on air announcers called "ducks", and it was clear the Pats had the defense figured out from the opening drive of the game. I resigned myself to finally getting the season's first loss under our belts, and just hoped that the thrashing would miraculously be minimized somehow.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, gives Manning the ball with 2 minutes left unless they can drive them back against their own goal line. Even then it is a huge gamble, but one worth taking when there's a lot of green between him and the end zone. Last night Belichick must have somehow forgotten that maxim and assumed his high octane offense could gain 2 yards on 4th down. He lost that gamble and Manning made him pay for it with a quick pass to Wayne, and a loss by 1 point.

Now who is going to serve up the Colts their first loss?

as much as I despise Belichick...I think he made a gutsy move, that IF it works, he looks like a genius and if it don't...well..you get this...IF he punts, there is a very good chance they lose....Manning THRIVE on these situations....

Even though the Titans are sucking hind booby.....I fear those guys as much as anyone....Fisher ALWAYS pulls out ALL OF THE tricks when he has too....and the Colts can easliy take them lightly, enough to be served an embarrassing loss....BUT, they have to win two more tough games to get to them.....but that is MY prediction.

Well, the Squeelers lost in OT to the Chiefs; and Hamburgler got his bell rung and knocked out of the game.

The Colts squeaked out another one over the Ravens, going 10 - 0, despite playing like a rookie team. Manning once again throwing ducks and the Ravens had the shotguns. They couldn't manage anything but field goals (Ravens), and that was not enough. Colts by 2.
