I would have been just as opposed if they were talking about Mr. Bush, FDR, or any other president.

O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum,
wie treu sind deine Blätter!
Du grünst nicht nur
  zur Sommerzeit,
Nein auch im Winter, wenn es schneit.
O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum,
wie treu sind deine Blätter!

O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum!
Du kannst mir sehr gefallen!
Wie oft hat nicht zur Weihnachtszeit
Ein Baum von dir mich hoch erfreut!
O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum!
Du kannst mir sehr gefallen!

O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum!
Dein Kleid will mich
  was lehren:
Die Hoffnung und Beständigkeit
Gibt Trost und Kraft
  zu jeder Zeit.
O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum!
Das soll dein Kleid
  mich lehren.

How can a question be wrong?

Good point...but you would be wrong, in assuming that, because THIS is nothing but indoctrating children...a teacher shoving a political agenda to some elementary kids.....it is just wrong....people are wanting to worship him....that is stolen from a Christian song .... Jesus love the Children of the World.

During the Third Reich "O Tannenbaum" was promoted by the Nazis as part of their program to remove the more Christian parts of the Holiday Season.....

Your first mistake is assuming I am assuming. I asked a question.

Secondly, how is this little ditty any different than singing the praises of a christmas tree?

Thirdly, do you own the copyright to the tune? No. The fact is many "Xtian" traditional hymns are just plagiarized from tunes created by folk music, slave tunes, and other traditional field melodies. . .

During the Third Reich "O Tannenbaum" was promoted by the Nazis as part of their program to remove the more Christian parts of the Holiday Season.....

And yet it is performed thousands of times each holiday season in America, by children and adult choirs; in english.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
Not only green when summer's here,
But also when 'tis cold and drear.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
How often has the Christmas tree
Afforded me the greatest glee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
From base to summit, gay and bright,
There's only splendor for the sight.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!

And that geebuz crap isn't indoctrinating children?
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

and I answered it.....maybe not they way you wanted to hear it, but I answered it, and YOU knew exactly what I meant...

Secondly, how is this little ditty any different than singing the praises of a christmas tree?

You are losing this one, with a weak argument.....again, YOU know exactly what the issue here is and you are trying to be all philosophical ....

Again, what is your point....I'm not wanting to sue anyone, I simply stated it is directly from a Christian tune...even the words

Red and yellow, black and white,
All are precious in his sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world......

you can get all twisted with this as you want.....I just posted it on here, and it is honestly pretty sad...in my opinion....

THIS guy has been in office 9 months and he is being treated like he is a GREAT president ... it is corny and hoakey....and this teacher should be FIRED.....she is out of bounds with this.

And any teacher in a public school endorsing prayer in the classroom should be fired as well.
