Well if ya ask me, and ya didnt, I think the guy can exercise his right to free speech.  If you are a nutbag, then you will feed on it.  If you arent one, you will shake your head at the dumbness, and continue on to Wallyworld or wherever.

And if you are dumb enough to go to a town hall meeting with guns strapped on, you might want to make sure that the "strapping firearms and going into a public venue" is not addressed in your life insurance policy. And you might wanna tape your lawyers phone number to your forehead so someone can notify your heirs.  I f that did happen, and I aint sayin it didnt, it seems like there would be people pointing and yelling "he has a gun!", and that the nice police officers would slam his butt onto the ground (more than once) during the ensuing pandimonium.
