Do you know the difference between empirical and anecdotal?
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Ok, I read the article. The guy says they have had a cool July, is he lying? He evidently doesn't believe in global warming because of this. What part of the article is so bad that you are jumping all over it? It states this man's opinion, no one else's. Is he not allowed to have an opinion based on what happens to him?

Okay, so it's Joe Farmer's opinion. Why was it sold as news and not in the opinion section?

Personally, I find it irresponsible journalism considering that it has been proven that a large number of people can't discern the difference between fact and opinion.

I don't think the media is unaware of this fact either. It is an opinion piece sold as news w/an agenda to dupe the unthinking population.

If one were sitting in a refrigerator, would one's observation of the the temperature of the entire house be accurate?

It's as bad as the news orgs putting up a poll as proof of anything, but there are plenty of people that think it is some sort of news fact.

If you watch the video it is evidently a segment called on the farm, presented as more of a "soft" news piece telling of the conditions on the newscasters family farm. Not really a piece to change anyone's mind about global warming or global change as we are calling it now.
