It was a joke for crying out loud. Public figures are subjected to them all of the time. The bimbo needs to get over herself and STFU. If she's not trying to be an attention whore what is she trying to achieve here?

it was a bad joke........she has every right in the world to tell letterman to suck it....letterman admits it was a BAD joke....he screwed up.....

you folks just HATE Palin, so that is all that maters to you.........

I can care less .... but i find this funny..........Imus said something much less intrusive, and got fired.

"A more cynical view may be that Palin had more than enough media attention last fall, and that her Letterman broadside was designed to renew attention when the spotlight is dimming. Palin may even have been aware of a Gallup poll released last week showing that she attracted less than 1 percent of Republicans who were asked to name the "main person who speaks for the Republican Party today."

letterman screwed up.........he is desperate because he has new competition (conan)...and everybody is trying to turn this into a Palin thing instead of a letterman thing....and it is par for the course with the liberal media.

Now, Henry ... "hate" is an awfully strong word. I thinks my feelings toward her are more in the order of "disdain."

There you go with that "liberal media" sorry excuse again.

Show me where the media has done anything but straight reporting of the facts of this situation.

And I'm NOT talking about the "opinion" shows.

see, I really don't think it was all that funny....palin or no palin......had it not been about a kid (14 or 18 year old) maybe it would have been at the most .... a grin...but nothing where I may have busted a stitch....

it was NOT worth telling a nation wide audience too....

if anything, it was done to TRY to boost his ratings........and it may have backfired....

As is the case with an overwhelming majority of the scripted late night talk show jokes. . . Thank the censors.

Just because you didn't get it doesn't mean it wasn't funny and the 18 year old isn't a kid, she's a boozy tramp.

And yet, he'll still make over $30 million this year.

but you THINK it was funny?...........knowing Ex, I can see how his brain can accept that as funny.....but to the average bears out there, it was really pretty lame and stupid at the best.

I am the wrong person to be asking that question. I see far too much humor in a lot of situations that the "average bear" wouldn't. . . But, since you asked, Yeah, I got a chuckle out of it. . .

Had the attention whore not made such a big deal of this, it would be long gone and forgotten by now; relegated to the massive heap of bad jokes and politically incorrect statements generated each day by the talk show circuits. The only person giving the damned joke any credibility is the friggin target herself!

Come on they're Alaskans for crying out loud! It's not like any one of us is going to bump into them on the street or anything. . .

Truth be told she's worried because her attention levels are dropping like a lead balloon. The bimbo will do anything to lengthen her time in the public spotlight. She's a politician and there is no such thing as "bad press" for them! (Name recognition).

to"mater" tomahter.
It would have been a fine joke if he had had the right daughter. But Palin ought to send Letterman a big ole bucket of Moose Stew to thank him for keeping her 15 minutes going a while longer.
