That's what is remarkable about a living legend. The fact that legends so rarely live. Prolly a good thing too, since a lot of the "legends" would be debunked in this day and age, I suspect.

Had I remembered his brain cancer diagnosis, I would have put him on the list with Swayze and Kennedy.

I've heard of several people who have died of p c, and that by the time they are diagnosed with it there, it's only a matter of weeks before they are gone. That's sad.
Looks like I've come full circle.
