When people fear the government, that is called tyranny
When the government fears its people, that is called liberty

"The Auto Prophet - an anonymous engineer working for one of the Detroit automakers - is skeptical of the suggestion that political considerations are playing a role in White House car czar decisions on which Chrysler dealers are to be shuttered.

A more likely explanation is simply the fact that more Chrysler dealers in general are likely to be Republican contributors, which would mean more of the closed dealers would be seen to be GOP supporters than Democrat supporters: "My hypothesis is that Chrysler dealers, being small businessmen, are more likely to donate to Republicans than Democrats, for predictable reasons. Like any small businessmen, car dealers want lower taxes, a lower minimum wage, fewer regulations, etc."

Check the source:

and my favorite paragraphs from a Wikipedia entry:

When the Examiner launched in late 2005, Washington City Paper writers Erik Wemple and Jeff Horwitz surveyed Washington, D.C. neighborhoods and discovered that free home delivery of the Examiner occurred in exclusively white, affluent neighborhoods, while "majority-black neighborhoods are lucky to get even spotty service."[1]

Another controversy is the Examiner's business plan. The Examiner attracts advertisers through their circulation numbers. People all over the area have complained of difficulty un-subscribing from the paper.[2] Residents of Arlington County, Virginia, citing difficulties stopping delivery of the paper, started a petition online in an attempt to resolve the problem. The petition is open to all residents of the Washington metropolitan area who are having difficulties canceling delivery of the Examiner.

At least the story wasn't from World Net Daily.

That damn rag shows up in my driveway every Sunday. I never ordered it but I have never tried to unsubscribe. At first I tried to read it, but now it just goes straight to the recycle bin.

This story is a funny one, but for the people that actually believe this crap; not so much.  The story is bunk.  MOST dealers are republican contributors and almost ALL of the ones remaining open are republican contributors.  It is a joke.
