I don't think the question should of been asked in the first place.

Why not? Isn't it customary to ask the "hard" questions of contestants to let them show they are more than just another blond bimbo?

her answer showed exactly that, though. "I think it's great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage" Um, no, you can't choose one or the other, which is exactly why the debate is going on.

I think she was inferring we live in a land where it is voted upon and debated.....where 55% believe it is between a man and a woman...

Henry, puh-leeze!
"We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage" You are really reaching if you think she was inferring anything!

But looking at the transcript of her answer solidifies even more what I think--that she didnt really have much of an opinion on it before she got turned into the Anita Bryant of her age: "I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman." She thought she believed? or she did?

While we are talking about her, I saw a headline a week or so ago claiming that the pageant paid for Miss Prejeans tetherball tittays. Is there any truth in that?? Why on earth would a pageant foot the bill (ie: encourage) something like that??  And I wonder what God thinks about breast implants?

Yes, they did. Hence my earlier comment about Trump letting her keep the crown because he can't figure out how to repo them.

Dude!!!  ... It's Donald Trump!

the point is she was ruthlessly attacked for stating her opinion about Gay marriage...
I think the point is she was asked a loaded question, by a judge with an obvious agenda, and didn't have the sense to give a non-committal answer. The guy was a judge! He could sink her! (and he did) Are the pageant people still trying to sell these T & A shows as "scholarship programs?" 'Cause that was about the dumbest thing she could have done, if she really wanted to win.

I'm still waiting for one of them to strip during the "talent portion of our competition."

Obama and Hillary think the same way about gay marriage. She stood up for what she believes and too few people do that nowadays. Trump is against drunks driving, so he's wrong to kick Kardasian off? I don't think so.

Donald Trump is a publicity whore. Her controversial comment is marketable publicity...drunk driving isn't. He doesn't give a fat rats arse what she believes (or "thinks" she does) he's getting a return on his investment...both on her and his poor choice of buying the pagent.

as to the first sentence--pray what IS the point??

As to the second...if thats what she believes (or thinks she believes), then by all means she shouldnt marry another woman. I personally would never marry a woman with fake tittays (they feel like rocks...or so Ive heard) but I wouldnt propose that none of them should be married.
