The wife and I took a little ride on Saturday.  We ended up in Pendleton, where I donated a couple of Pendleton Irish items to the Fall Creek museum.

Then we met up with friends and watched their grandson play a game of coach pitch at the baseball complex in Huntsville.  In between the museum and the game, we took a quick run to Greenfield and back to check on some things and get a couple of pictures for my AMA tours.  After the game, we headed back to Speedway, and the wife's (she stays there during the week) apartment, where we spent the night before heading on home.

It was our first little "trip" on the BMW, and boy was it great to be out and two up again.  The wife started out riding behind her brother when she was 16, so she has been at this longer than I have.  She really enjoys riding pillion, and has no desire to drive.  Its been along time sinece we were able to ride together, but the magic is still there.  We left home in semi miserable moods, but by the time we got to Pendleton, we were both smiling.  And that is in spite of the cold, windy, cloudy day we were experiencing.  Riding is very theraputic.

Glad you had a good time.  Sounds a whole lot more pleasant than the ride back from picking the bike up was.   :)

I was probably close by...I was in Pendleton for my son's game around 12:30...and it WAS rather nippy out...
