As an example of what's been discussed in this thread, and the things that are already being done, I did the following on my iPhone just now.

1.  I brought up my contacts.
2.  I clicked the card for my cousin who just moved across the country.
3.  I clicked on her address which opened up maps on the iPhone.
4.  On the pin indicating her location, I clicked the image of the street.
5.  Up came this lovely picture of her new apartment building.
