Well, lets put it this way.  He professes to know all about a person and judges it on whether they agree with his opinions or not which is just plain wrong and I would say in most cases he is just as wrong as he is here.  You can agree with him all you want but that still won't make him right. We have never dissed you or your education for disagreeing with our opinion so just continue on as you are and feel smug and smart thinking you know it all.  How can you expect someone to listen to you if you won't listen to them?  Putting someone down is not a way to prove a point or get anyone's attention it only means you have nothing of real substance to counter with.

Actually, I'm a social liberal and a fiscal conservative.  Nothing would please me more than to keep the government as far out of my life and my pocket as possible but if they're going to take my money anyway, I prefer that they use it to make life for everyone here in this country better rather than traipsing around the globe stirring up shit to benefit the corporations that installed them into office.

I believe that both major political parties are inherently corrupt but the Republicans are worse because they're hypocrites.  When the Dems get caught with their pants around their ankles, at least they aren't holding a freakin' bible.

A North Korean diplomat warns "strong steps" would follow should the UN take action against the country after its launch of a satellite on Sunday.

The UN Security Council has been debating whether North Korea should be punished for the launch.

My point, since you're obviously too dense to grasp it, is that Clinton never presented himself as the most virtuous man on the planet.  He wasn't rallying against gays while he was trying to pick up a man in an airport restroom or trying to foist some bullshit sense of morality onto everyone else while trying to bang a teenage page.  Judging from your contempt at even the suggestion of helping the less fortunate in this country if it'll cost you a dime, it appears that this attitude is not unique to the party leaders but is endemic.  If the stories about Jesus are to be believed, he was the ultimate social liberal but, sadly, those of you who claim to follow his teachings missed that most important lesson.
