You all realize that he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Right?

Had he stopped Porkie 1 and the country/economy collapsed, the same people trashing him now would be trashing him then.

He did the right thing, acted in the best interests of the country in his best judgment, and the critics can go screw the pooch. I am sure he has done what he feels to be truly the right thing to this point.

He knows better than the rest of us that his every action is not just under the short sighted microscopes of the citizens of this country, but the long-sighted microscope of history as well. He is well aware of the real and historic ramifications of his every move and has acknowledged it many times.

I believe it to be a very good thing, because it will help keep him honest and his decisions true to the greater good of the American people and this country; despite the temptation that may come with holding a position of such power and responsibility.

I believe that the things he accomplishes in office will not be recognized by the masses in his day and time; but cherished by the few who are capable of seeing the bigger picture in his time, and by the unblinking and critical eye of history.

I believe he will not betray the oath he took, and awakes each day reminding himself of the importance of remaining true to that oath every second of every day.

I believe all of this until he stops believing it himself. And if he ever does we will all know it.

Bullshit.  Everything Bush did was for Bush's ego; he couldn't give a crap less about the country or its people.

and I honestly feel the same way about Obama....i still see a guy, who was a community organizer AND a senator for a 100 plus days...who is gifted at speaking....he got the media behind him...and now he is president....I think he is in over his head, but has WAY too big of an ego to realize it...

THAT is the way I see him....this country is divided...between basicly the way things YOU see them and the way things I see them....to put it in a nutshell.....people HATE Bush....people HATE Obama...

I honestly WANT to be able to like him...(obama)....but I so much disagree with the ideology...IF he is a great leader like many on here claim he is.....then, this country SHOULD get better in the next couple of years....he has all of congress behind him....time will tell us the truth.

Plagiarizing and manipulation of another's words to utilize in a fashion that is directly against what the originating poster's position is. . . How low of you!

Never would have thought I'd ever see you stoop to such a low!

It's nowhere near as presumptuous as those of you who seem to think you know what your god is thinking and what his motivations are.

The difference between the two groups is that those of us who dislike Bush simply wanted a president who we consider our intellectual equal.  Those of you who dislike Obama already had one.  ;)

No. . . when have I "blasted you" prior to this?

Moreover, what you did was cheap, low, and lazy. I simply called you on it and now you've got your feathers all ruffled over it. Get over it yourself.
