...for those slow on the math, that is 2.6 years, which included the intel brief he got on "Bin Laden determined to strike in U.S." while he was on a month long stay at the "ranch".  On the bright side, imagine how much more damage he could have done if he had stayed on the job for those lost 2.6 years.

Just for the die hards, bush bought his "ranch" just before he took office and just finished selling the "ranch" as he was leaving; in other words, the good ol' boy bought himself a prop so he could play cowboy for his fans.

that is just another "talking point" to trash the man...........I don't think a president EVER takes a real vacation.......Bush was briefed "everyday" during his so-called vacation at crawford....it is usually just a change of view...........Clinton took nearly 200 days....and had many, many "parties" with celebrities AT the White House.........the bottom line is...........these guys NEED to find a way to "deal" with an extremely stressful job..........Reagan worked from his ranch many times........he was STILL working....but in a enviroment where he could relax a little more.

He wasn't working.  Bush might have been briefed, but he never acted on anything as he didn't understand what was briefed.  He set a RECORD for time spent taking off from his job.  You can't "talking points" crap that away.

Today's ironic musing of the day.  Clue: if you're going to attempt to lay claim to another's ignorance, you might want to learn how it's spelled.

Why don't you let it go...Bush is no longer the president so you can pull your head out of his ass.

How is the amount of time Bush took off someone else's mistake?

Bush deserves to be bashed and I too would like to know how that is covering up other's (sic) mistakes?

The liberals fear George Bush because he is a man chosen by God to lead.

Oh no, Ex.  I think G W Bush is the perfect example of what Doc's god would choose as its American Saviour.  The limited brain power of bush exactly matches the limited brain power of Doc's god (ala, Doc's own imagination, and the scribes before him that invented that god).
