JT's a reasonable guy who just got caught up in the trendiness of the thing I suspect. He and Kelly will rethink this moving forward; I hope so anyway.
They're brainwashed... I doubt their son's death will cause them to turn away from their religion.

Don't underestimate the power of the loss of a loved one. From all accounts JT loved this child to the core and doted on him. He was his main inspiration and a major part of his life. He is devastated I am sure, same with his wife.

When I lost a son it nearly drove me over the edge; and it still could some 19 years later if I let it. . .

Kinda "interesting" that Scientology is anti-science. I don't get anyone who passes up proved preventions and cures based on something which is unproven.

Don't people who are brainwashed have to be deprogrammed? I'm sure the cult they belong to aren't going to do that. I seriously don't think this will turn them away from their religion. Not to mention the fact that if they try to break free from it, they could be in serious danger. That cult is extremely dangerous.  They will probably say it happened for a reason. Google the name.. Lisa McPherson, and see what they did to her, when she tried to leave them. That is some scary shit.  :spooked:

I think, this death is going to open up a BIG ol can of worms, towards the "scientology" crowd...

I think you're right HH. They have been under scrutiny for a very long time. There have been many suspicious deaths within that cult. They don't let people leave, if they decide it's not right for them. It's my understanding that they also take money from their members.

How ironic it is to see people labeling religions other than their own 'cults'.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.
