Very little to none.  You will get news letters from some companies but only if you sign up to receive them.  I try to stay away from sources that slam people with spam and stick to legit sites.  I occasionally mess up but if I find out right away when I send for my sample I try to get back to my post in time to modify it or make a new post to inform people of my experience when sending for the sample.  Word to the wise though....Most of these go pretty fast, some manufacturers have limits  on amounts of samples they give, so if I post something don't dally around thinking about it.
