Ghost of Jaco

I remember the name, but I don't think I ever saw them play.

It was Skip, Ronnie, Rick, and a drummer I know but can't remember his name at the moment. Of course I could be wrong and the drummer was Tag.

How about the Tornados?     :rotfl:

I think I remember them.....
It seems I remember that the rest of the band kinda "rode on the coattails" of their awesome bass guitarist.

You meant gee-tar player

Henry says you're number two.    :rotfl:

Dan still does the odd gig or two and runs Trish's music store. Steve repairs instruments and only picks his nose.

I'll tell them to stop by here.

Hahahaha! I'll take that as a compliment, coming from Henry!

I must say, though, Wham, that we did "wow" them at Donnie's many many nights!
It was certainly one of the funnest bands I was ever in with you.
I thought it was hilarious that they eventually quit putting the name of the band on the chalkboard, and just put our first names up, "Paul, Tim, Rick, and Larry". We packed the house a lot.

One of my favorite jokes was when I'd meet someone and they'd ask, "Aren't you in Paul Kemper's band"?
I'd always reply, "No, Paul Kemper is in MY band", lol!

Is Paul still playing or did he give it up?

Last I heard he was in deep trouble and going to jail.

Paul and Tim always thought everything revolved around them.

I get asked about Paul on a semi-regular basis. I also ASK people about Paul. No one seems to know what he is doing now, but no one thinks is is still playing music. If he is, he might be playing at the Pendleton Church of God.

As for his "trouble"...yeah, it happened. He spiraled down until he hit bottom. I've heard that he lost a lot of things: his house, job, etc. but I do not know that first-hand.

I did see him at a convenience store in Castleton last year. He looked good. we spoke briefly in line and that was that.

It was good seeing you last weekend! Hope you drop back by here and I see you again soon. Oh, and happy birthday!
