Dating

I had a date last night.  It went great.  We are going out again but haven't firmed up the date.  I'm very excited.  He was very nice, owns his own place, has a job!  I'm a little smitten right now!

I've had a couple of dates myself over the last couple of days.   probably won't get another date until about Christmas time though.

A friend of mine is doing E-Harmony.  She is getting quite a few "quality" dates--so far no freaks!

Yesterday we had a great date. We decided to introduce our kids to one another (Mr. Fishers has an 18 yr old girl and a 15 yr old boy and Lil BEG is 15). So, instead of sitting across a table from one another and struggle with conversation, we went to Turkey Run State Park and hiked 2 rugged trails. The kids got along really well. When we started the trails, it was like a Discovery Zone for teenagers. LOL They took off climbing and going the most difficult ways. It was soooo much fun and Mr Fishers and I couldn't be happier.

The kids hadn't met yet?  Wow, that sure seems like a long time coming.  But what do I know....I'm not even dating. LOL

Oh, no. I had met his kids and he had met Lil BEG but the kids hadn't met each other yet.
He was nervous about it for some odd reason....probably because he figured his son would get a crush on Lil BEG - LOL

that's what  I was saying..the kids hadn't met.  I met my 'ex' stepmothers kids the first time I met her.  I think it made things easier in the long run.  There was someone else to keep us occupied instead of focusing on this strange woman my dad was seeing.
