That's all well and good but you also don't belittle a person who makes one mistake, whether it be a typo or omitting a letter, and call them stupid. If I were composing a business letter or something of that nature I would use the spelling aide available in Word or whatever program I was using and most probably the setence structure aide to make sure the coorespondence looked professional but for a forum I don't feel the need to go to those lengths. I am usually multi-tasking when I'm replying to something here and don't feel the need to be perfect constantly. Life is too short to be sweating the small stuff so why berate people for making one mistake then brag because they use a tool to make sure they don't and call me lazy for not doing so then go on to tell me I don't even have the intelligence to use one? This is a place to have fun, give an opinion, and interact with people not school. You compose some amazing things PH and I understand why you want them to be professional but I'm just replying to posts and therefore don't care if they look professional which is why I use ain't, gonna, and leave the "g" off the words that end in "ing" all the time. I just flat don't want to be professional all the time and there's nothing wrong with that. It isn't being lazy or stupid it's being human and relaxed for a change. You'd be surprised how much simpler life becomes when you get over the feeling you have to be 100% on and impress people constantly. I got over that about 15 yrs ago and it feels great.

I'll respond by saying this to you, as was said to me back in high school by a school administrator whom I admired; "Perception is reality to 99% of the people. To them their perceptions of you or your situation is the reality, so one must make every effort to ensure your words and actions provide the perception(s) you desire." . . .

I'm just a laid back person who doesn't want to have to feel like I'm under the microscope constantly anymore. I had to be that way for too many years and I'm just over it. I don't figure one letter missing out of a word because I'm distracted and in a hurry is the end of the world or a reason to call me or anyone else stupid and belittle them, it's only a mistake. I admire people like you who can put their thoughts into words so well and wish I could also do that but that's just something I never was good at so, yes, I may be misunderstood at times but, hey, just consider the source and I'll either figure it out or I won't. Laugh with me not at me I guess is what I'm trying to say.
