for at least 3 days in a row these kids pelted my garage with stones. i watched from an upstairs bedroom and recorded the damage. i cannot believe the things that kids do these days to entertain themselves.

Ya know, that little punk has got some nerve. Doing that in broad daylight. Jesum Crow!!! :spooked: When I used to live in town, we had a couple of boys that lived next door, and they did crap like that. One time they made the mistake, of hitting my big dog Mugsy with a stick, he broke his (log chain) and ran them back to their own yard. He didn't hurt them. The look on their faces was priceless. :rotfl: Needless to say, they never bothered Mugsy again. IMO, People need to teach their kids to treat animals with respect.
one theory is that they live in the projects and have nothing. they don't want anyone else to have anything either. they've never learned to respect the belongings of others since they don't have anything of their own.
i think that is a poor excuse.
i've found some of their rocks on my roof and on my porch near my windows. i suspect when they get bored with my garage they'll bust out my windows next.
and hitting a dog is just plain wrong. i'm glad your pooch taught those kids a lesson.

Ya know it's bad to say, but I think it has a lot to do with upbringing. If kids aren't taught to be respectful of others, and others belongings, they really don't know any better. Kids imitate the actions they see. What is really kind of sad,is the fact that some of the parents act like that. Children are like clay, they have to be molded the right way. If parents set a bad example, then the kids follow that example. I hope they don't move on to throwing stuff at your house. I would be very careful, if you involve the law, or the kids parents. If they do live in the projects, you might have to worry about serious retribution. Be very, very careful.
i have considered the retribution angle. i have decided they are more than fortunate that i called the police and i didn't just walk outside and handle it the only way i know how. if they want to get into a p!ssing contest with me, then great. i can easily make hell of someone's everyday life.
there is the legal way and then there is my way--however they want to play it.
i'm being far more passive than i am used to to begin with. i don't like ppl messing with me.
May I suggest borrowing a high power paintball gun?
lol... i have one... and a handful of paintballs in the freezer...
Want me to take care of them for you?
lol.... e!
i must try to remind myself that they are 8th graders... (although it is still tempting... lol...)
Ummm..... Hey guys I think this is getting political. This thread is about kids throwing rocks at ~vxn's~ house. We kind of got off topic on the dog attacking people thing anyway. We all need to cool our jets. Can you tell I'm not much of a debater?
Hey ~vxn~, have you had anymore trouble with those little buggers? Any damage to report? I sure hope not.
i have good hips. lol... but i've already been bred.
no, dex, no more damage. i sit out and wait for them every school day and creep them out.
(e, i have never feared reprisal... mmmm.... chaos.)
Chaos is the perfect breeding ground for the infinitely possible.
And yes, you have good hips.
hooray for chaos & ty, e. lol....
indeed, dex, there's a plan. (most neighbors actually refer to me as "that creepy writer from over there."

A plan? :icon_twisted: Don't feel bad, people think I'm that crazy cat lady, that spends $ 200 a week on cat food LOL!!! The bad part is, it's all true!! Bwwwaahhaa!!! :spooked: :o
Hey ~vxn~!!! How's it going with the vandals? Anything new to report?
nope, cops never got back to me... i think i am supposed to be waiting for papers from the juvenile courts.

Wow!!!! :o It's being processed. What will they get out of it? Probation? A fine? A stint in juvi ? he he, that'll teach those little buggers. :icon_twisted:
they better get something. lol... we have a 3 car garage--1 on one side, 2 on the other. the door they damaged was the 2 car side. i think the door runs about $600. brats.

Wow :spooked: Those little a*swhipes ought to have to pay for it. I hate people who have no respect, for other people's property.
i hate ppl like that--i work hard for what i have... my victim is the hardest working man i've ever met...

I know what you mean. Hubby and I have scratched and clawed to make our way too. I learned at a very young age, that this old world don't owe anyone a thing. You gotta work for it. I really hope those little snots have to pay you back. If they get away with it, they'll move on to much worse crimes, and that will be a mess for somebody. Unfortunately, it will probably be another hard working, and law abiding citizen like yourself. The cops need to nip it in the bud.
I'm so glad this went back on topic..it was actually starting to frighten me. LOL

It got a little crazy for a while. I kept bringing it back to the topic. It is very easy to go off topic. I've done it many times myself.
Another forum I post in....if it stays on topic past the 2nd post, it's a miracle. LOL
The posts related to dogs and their breeding, habits, etc. have been split from this thread and moved to the Rough House.
