Yeah I'm looking at the sky.  But just maybe, the extra electricity in the air will intensify the signal? :wink: I can then sit in the garage and have a better connection. LOL  I was in the garage, but moved out to the yard to get a stronger signal.  Who knew that there was an unsecure wireless signal running all over Anderson? (As long as you are outside.)
Looks like I've come full circle.

My guess is you are piggy backing off a neighbor's wireless network. And a close one at that. (Should've installed that firewall?)

I don't think it is.  All around me are 2wire### wireless connections that need an authentication WEP  key.  (even mine when it's running needs the authentication WEP key) This particular one seems to work anywhere in Anderson, no authentication needed.  The default gateway is password protected, so that's all good.  I could run out to 53rd street and hook up to the same connection.  Interesting.
Looks like I've come full circle.
