It did get to 32 here.  Sure is a bummer after those warm days.

Tonight's low is suppose to be 29* YIKES!!!

Daffodil days...

I love Daffodils. I don't have any but I think they're awful pretty. I planted Tulips last year, but I haven't checked to see if they came up. I'll have to check them.

My daughter has some in her yard and they were all bloomed out and real pretty last week.

I'd say we're probably going to have to mow by next weekend. The grass is growing at lightspeed. I'm hoping to release the beneficial insects in the next week or so.

I need to prune some of the dead spots out of Baby's Breath bushes. Then I need to prune the bushes around the garage. OMG... I just thought of something that never occurred to me.... my Baby's Breath bushes are poisonous to cats!!!!  Why didn't I think of that? OMG!!!!!

I can't believe I just realized that. Those bushes have been there since we moved here. I don't know if I should tear them out or not. We haven't had a problem with them so far. I'll have to think it through,and discuss it with Hubby. I haven't decided about the Tiger Lillies either yet.

Are tiger lilies bad for cats too?

I am not a pet expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I would think that as long as they are being fed on a regular basis, they wouldn't go out in search of plants as food.  Just a thought.


I have mowed 4 times now!  I just did the back yard last night.  I can't keep up with that monster!  I keep dreaming that HGTV is going to come in and save me - put a pool in or a nice rock garden.  I am just going to have to save up so that next spring and I redo my lawn.  So expensive but it should be worth it once it is complete.

I made a boo boo yesterday. I mowed over lilies I forgot I planted!  Opps!

Got our yard mowed yesterday now to tackle the rest of the weeds in the flower beds and trim.  Can't trim the shrubs yet but they do need it.

I just found the coolest azalea farm!!  All of their azaleas are $6 a piece!  I just cleaned out what little was in my checking account and loaded up!!!
