So is anyone REALLY surprised that The News of the World whose  parent company is News International, part of Murdoch's media thought that hacking a missing girl's voicemail was an acceptable thing to do?

Uh, don't they usually listen to voice mail and go through anything else they can find in a case like that to see if they can come up with clues as to where the person might be or who they might be with?  Think about it wouldn't you want everything possible investigated if your daughter came up missing?  Would you say, "oh no, you can't hack her email 'cause that's personal and it might upset her and invades her right to privacy?"  Come on....

  Turn on your TV and turn it to something else other than Fox News which is owned by old Rupert Murdoch   Doing things  Rupert style he must be afraid and protecting the people who know where all of the bodies are buried.  He closed down the whole paper, fired all of the small workers and kept all of the big shots who were responsible for this evil and illegal act.  Good old Rupert   He's such good people.

You don't have to live in front of your TV to know about this. All you have to do is pick up a paper or trun the damn thing on. The fact that neither of you seem to know what's going on tells us ALL we need to know about why your view of everything is so skewed.

I was sitting in a waiting room all day yesterday, and really THIS is big news?  Unemployement rose....and Murdoch's newspaper is the big news?

Murdock released the following statement:

"While we may never be able to make up for distress that has been caused, the right thing to do is for every penny of the circulation revenue we receive this weekend to go to organisations — many of whom are long-term friends and partners — that improve life in Britain and are devoted to treating others with dignity.

"We will run no commercial advertisements this weekend.

"Any advertising space in this last edition will be donated to causes and charities that wish to expose their good works to our millions of readers.

"These are strong measures. They are made humbly and out of respect. I am convinced they are the right thing to do.''

I am on a forum that is stacked against me....

there really is much fact involved in that article that 100% supports my claims...but, there are bigger things in this world to worry about than if a few of my liberal friends understand basic principals of commons sense.

FYI, the story on the hacking broke over a week ago. . . It didn't just come up yesterday.  .
