It is the scar tissues inability to produce the chemical that causes the toning of the skin. . . It will eventually return but it takes a while for some of us.

I had a motorcycle accident @ 27 that left me with some pretty gruesome scars on my legs. The scar tissue didn't start tanning until last year!  :smile:

oh crap.....that means what?  I've got another 20 odd years before I might tan again?  do you really think I'm going to be going to a tanning bed when I hit 70?  I don't......ahem...time for a one piece when out in the sun.

I think what you mean is that none of them like being of the colored persuasion.   Personally, I would like to go a few shades darker.  Within the limits that I have while being a Caucasian.
