 I hate road rash....  :spooked: I experienced it once as a small child. I had a coon dog puppy that was hyperactive, and very strong. Not a good combo.  :spooked: I was walking it one day, and it took off with the leash still wrapped around my wrist. Needless to say.... I couldn't keep up with him..... so I flew forward landing on my knees, and was dragged down the pavement for several yards. Not a GOOD TIME!!!  :rolleyes: I still have a scar on my knee, from where my Mom dug the pea gravel out. :no:

I've had several bouts of it from my early days astride the steel horse years and years ago. The memory of each is still fresh in my mind, and I have no desire what so ever to have it again. I have the scars to prove it too!

I had a middle-school track coach who tried to help me get over my fear of hurdles. To please her, I tried. Needless to say, it was an exercise in futility. My toe caught the hurdle and I went down. We didn't have asphalt. We practiced on a track that was dust and gravel. I had road rash from my chin to my knees. I didn't end up w/a scar, but that was my last track practice. :mad: :biggrin:
