Okay, I hadn't yet discovered forums prior to the last presidential election. Was it this bad? I mean, the nastiness and the posters with agendas spreading gossip and lies and to add insult to injury the ill-informed agreeing w/them?

What did they make an issue out of in the 2004 election? I mean the serious stuff like middle names, grade school friends and wardrobe. :rolleyes: What types of serious subjects like that did they discuss?

Very similar to what is going on now, except the whining and crying post election was even worse than it is right now pre-election!  :rolleyes:

So there I was this morning, gassing up the 4-4-2, and as I went in to pay I notice this hippie chick behind the counter.  Then I remember, "Oh, this is Halloween, this is many years later, and she is in a costume, not normal dress."  Damn I hate those flash backs.  Well not the flash back so much as the reality check that soon follows. :rolleyes:

OK.... I've been reading on other forums all day, and I have to say... I can't believe how people are reacting to the pending election. I think a race war is in our midst. I think there will be bloodshed no matter who wins this election. It's obvious by reading peoples posts, that this is a highly emotional time. People have been threatening to riot. People have threatened to come out with guns blazing. All of this is for what? Skin color? It saddens me greatly that the black AND white Americans can't put the past behind us, and move on to co existence. I don't think it will ever happen.  :no: Personally I'm afraid of what could happen in days to come. I think it is going to get mighty ugly. God help us all!!!!

I have to ask Dexter, the forums you have been reading, do you think that the people are predominately white or black on those forums?  I have read nothing but white trash America ready to have "guns blazing" if and when all this goes down.  I haven't seen too many black folks conspiring about race riots. 

Prejudice people are getting paranoid.  It is too bad their tiny minds are so narrow.

It's everywhere!!! My experience is that it has been 50/50. It's coming from BOTH sides. Everybody has gone completely mad!!! It doesn't matter who wins the election.... either way we're all on the fastrack to hell in a hand basket.  :rolleyes:
