Wow smokeykat!  I want tickets to something too!

I got my weedwhacker! An Ipod shuffle to go along with my gym membership that I'm buying myself.  An umbrella for my deck - that was the only reason I had to drive up there was to put it in my truck to take home! A gift card to Home Depot from my sister.  A "kitchen basket" with an assortment of gadgets and things that my mom picked up like wasabi sauce, pot holders, place mats, utensils.

I always end up buying myself items while I'm up there because there is no tax on things.  I got Harry Potter movies 1 - 5 at Target because most of them were $10.  An Issac Mizrahi dress that was on super sale - I got it for under $20, and a Troy Polomalu calendar! Hubba hubba!
Take time to smell the roses.

One thing I got for Christmas, that I really like, is a Smores gift set. I collect Smores figurines, and this set is really neat. It has 2 mugs that are shaped like snowmen, and they're sitting on a chocolate bar on top of a graham cracker. It came with marshmellows, 2 chocolate bars, and hot cocoa mix. We might make some tonight. I think out of everything I got, I like it the best.  :smitten:

Just a suggestion on smores...when we made them w/Girl Scouts we used chocolate chips. They stick right to the marshmallows and are easier to melt and eat than the bars.
