The ice rolled off the roof in sheets, and piled up like slag heaps next to the house. It is still thick in a lot of places, but not on my truck. Took me 45 minutes to chip through the ice with a heated scraper! 

I hate it when the Corolla gets iced over. It's such a pain in the butt, to deal with when you're in a hurry to get to work.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning far western Broward County... Through early this evening...scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will move north at 10 mph across western Broward County. The strongest storms will mainly affect Alligator alley west of Highway 27 with frequent lightning strikes along with very heavy rainfall along with strong gusty winds. Some of this activity may also move into the far western suburbs near Weston by 6 PM. Only a few showers and possibly a thunderstorm will move through inland Collier County.

Actually, if you look at the national map and put it into motion you can see that the "freight train" effect is getting organized. Theres a wave of moisture from Texas to Canada and if it hold the course we'll be getting hammered.
