Update on the house

It is good to see you and I think everyone can relate to being busy. Seems like every season change brings on initial rushes of "stuff". If that makes sense. I can't wait to see the pictures. Did you see that PH and Daisy are having houses built? PH posted his blueprints and a picture of the model. I'm envious of all of you. LOL Anyway, tell LRHG hello.

Hi Sunny! It has been a really interesting summer. We have had so many things happen that has taken time away from building on the house. YES, we still are NOT in it! I have had several things come up over the summer that has interfered with my time to work on the house. Some of it has been good, but some hasn't been as good. I will really try to get some pics up as soon as I can, but you will see that progress has not been that good. I had two straight months where I never even got to step inside the house! The LRHG has been really patient and understanding and I appreciate her Love and support through all of the delays.

I have missed you all and hope to get a little more time to say hi more often. I hope that you all had a great summer! God Bless you all, my friends!

Update on the house:

   We have finally moved into our new home! It is still not completed, but is in a condition to allow us to live in it comfortably. The trailer had reached it's "expiration date and needed either to be abandoned as a home or to do some major repairs to it. We opted to spend the money on the new house, instead of spending on a trailer that will be gone in about a year.
   All that is needed to finish our home is construction of the entire Master Bathroom, finishing the sewing room (paint and flooring), and lots of trim.

Do you realize this thread started in September of '06? Can you believe it's been that long? I'm so happy to hear that you're in the new house and even though I'm sure what's left is a lot of work...you're definitely in the home stretch now.
