Yeah I've always hated those. They got popular here around some of the clubs I used to go to that was a lot of college kids into the whole swing-goth fad.

Okay, I'm getting pepped up here....you go first & let me know how the bangs go.

Are you asking me to be a guinea pig????

Okay, maybe.

Yeah...I think I want something similar to you...did you have any luck with the Google images? If so, post a few here!

This is very similar to my new hair cut. My hair is thicker and brown, but basically this is it.

I'm thinking this with either hair flipping in or out on both sides, not one of each:

Great hairstyles, ladies!

I'm thinking of starting with something like this:

Well I don't know if you can tell by any picture I've ever posted, but I have a widow's peak hairline. I hate it insanely, but I'm stuck with it...so a lot of side part styles look strange on me without bangs to hide the peak. I've been getting by, but it sometimes looks odd...and middle part looks ugly on me!! So, I used to always pull my hair back.

I like that Sunny, but closer to the shoulders...my hair that short makes my head really round!

I like it Sunny, so no bangs? The one I posted, I really like...I'm just not ready for short hair. Plus, I think the weight of my hair would require ALOT of product to make it look like hers.

Gotta break back in gently, Mojo...I haven't owned a bottle of hairspray or used a curling iron in over 2 years.

I bet your hair looks lovely, btw! And easy to grow back out if you so desired.

Daisy, I can't imagine you looking strange...

Daisy - You strike me as the type that could pull off a cute short modern do.

Sunny - I know, what you mean. I saw her cutting the bangs I had painstakingly grown and had to look away quickly. LOL  I think that style would look good on you and still be long enough for an up do if you wanted.

I may have to print that photo out...the thickness looks about the same, too.

Thanks, ladies! What a productive discussion this has been.
