You guyz are regulars here, but I am brand new.

I would like to know WHERE these groups are scheduled to play....  Alexandria is in Virginia or?

My husband was a professional entertainer his entire life, starting at age 9, in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, cruise ships, etcetera.

He started out as a singer in L.A. with the Bob Mitchell Boy's Choir at age 9.

He was in the movies (The Agony and the Ectasy and Robin in the Seven Hoods are the two best known films).

Unfortunately when his voice changed at age 12 he was kicked to the curb from BMBC.

He decided he wanted to make music his career so hounded his mother to get him a drum set and lessons.

He became a singing drummer.

Okay, I realize that is not a big deal now, what with Phil Collins and Don Henley, but singing drummers were very rare when he started out.

Anyway, he managed to have a lifelong career in music.  NOT as his DAY JOB, but as THE JOB.  Of course to make that happen he became a very successful talent booking agent in the San Fernando Valley (THE VALLEY) of Los Angeles, besides being onstage most every night.

Anyway, he is 54 now.  He retired from the BIZ when we moved up here in the mountains five years ago.

His kidneys had died, he was on dialysis, then he got a transplant and here we are.

He will sometimes play / sing if asked... but mostly NOT.

A lot of that is because his roadie QUIT (me, that is).

Ladies:  Always marry the guitar players.

If you marry the drummer, you will become a beast of burden mucking all his stuff around for him.
