The new season of "Dexter" premieres tonight on Showtime. It's on at 8:00pm CDT. I hope it's as good as last season. I've got my fire extinguisher ready girls!!!  :icon_twisted:

Did anybody watch it? It looks like Dex may be getting a little soft. It was pretty good, and of course he was drop dead gorgeous.  Looks like season 2 may be pretty good.  :yes:

I saw it...and it was not at all what I expected! The first season followed the first book fairly closely....but the second season doesnt look like it will...
Cant wait for next weeks!

This sounds strange but, I was hoping for more murder.  :spooked: But, it's kind of neat, that they're trying to make him more human. I think if they go to far in that direction though, they might lose some of their fan base. It is unique because he's a "good serial killer", but if they turn him into a normal person, I don't think it will fly.  :no: So, here's hoping for some blood and guts, in future episodes LOL!!! I hope they don't mess up a good thing. Putting the second season on hiatus for soo long was a gamble to begin with. I haven't had a chance to see any of the reviews yet. BTW.... I read somewhere, that the second season would be different than the book, because the book came out before the taping for the second season, and they decided to do some minor adjustments,to the story line. So, it's hard to tell how much of a difference, the show will be from the books. I would like to see Doakes be one of his victims LOL!!!  :icon_twisted:

Well, I got the first two seasons of Dexter on the way from Netflix--as luck would have it, the first discs should arrive on Halloween!   How kewl is that?

Last night's episode was awesome. I don't care much for the new gal in his life though. I think him and Rita are probably going to be through.Maybe they'll make this new gal his partner in crime. That would be cool. As long as she doesn't mess up, and get them caught LOL!!!! I think it's going to be another great season. I had my doubts, but they are now gone.  :yes:
