Magistrate

I was waiting to share this with others until it was a certainty and became official. Tonight it was made official, so now I want to share this good news with my friends in the Zone.

Our church has a job opening for a Maintenance Manager, and I felt I was qualified for the job, so I applied for the position. I told them during the interview, that I still intended to run for Magistrate in the '08 election, but that I will know for sure, when the time comes to register as a candidate whether I will try again. Even with that, they still offered me the job!

I will be going from a job where I live in front of a computer, to one where I will be doing alot of hands on work and have little access to a computer during the day.

This is a great opportunity for me, and I am really thankful for the chance to work close to home with some really great people. I hope I will serve the church with honor as I work for them. I will not be able to access the Zone during the day in another two weeks, but you are all a part of our life, so I will be cruising the streets of the Zone, every chance I get! I will miss being able to pop in during the day when I get a break, but I will try to get caught up in the evenings and say hi to my friends here in the Zone.

The Red Haired-Girl seems to be happy with this coming change in employment also, since it means I am closer to home! She says we can have more time together now. One would almost think that she Loves me! :smitten: Don't tell her, but I have to admit that I am looking forward to seeing her precious smile alot more often! I am truly blessed.

Have a great week my friends! Please pray for me, that I will serve in this new role with honor.
Something to Consider! God Bless!

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

I will be praying that this new job is all that you want it to be.

That is great news! I hope you will be very happy in your new roll. I guess this shoots in the foot the idea of lunch in Beckley though!

Thanks my friends! I, for one, have been amazed! It must be the LRHG's doing! She is truly a godsend to me! They say that behind every good man, is a GREAT woman!

Gryphon,  I would be willing to make the trip one day if you ever want to get together. Maybe we could do dinner instead? Just let me know when my friend, and I will do what I can to make it happen!
