One must speak to one's respective audience in a language that audience can understand.  It has been 100% proven that there was a concerted (and successful!) effort by the Russian government to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.  Anyone who thinks that Trump, standing on the international stage, throwing the United States, its citizens, its media and its intelligence community under the bus in subservience to Putin while denying those facts isn't a clear and present danger to democracy, not just here but across the globe, is either a traitor or a complete idiot.  Which are you?

Putin hates the United States.  He has since the fall of the Soviet Union, having seen that as a loss to the Americans in a war he had fought his entire life.  If you were him, what would your goals be?  Further dividing the U.S.?  Calling into question the validity of our electoral process and, in doing so, democracy itself?  The loss of faith in our trusted institutions by the American people?  Seeing our relationships with our closest allies erode?  Fracturing the NATO alliance?  The erosion of our trade relationships with other countries which will eventually negatively affect our economy?  All of these things are happening and Trump is helping him to accomplish those goals. 

Wake the fuck up.

No one is saying or disagreeing that the Russian government has tried to interfere with the election.  NO ONE.


Trump did not make himself clear on stage, but has made himself clear now.  Yes, he did look foolish, but has retracted his "mis-speaking".


He is NOT a clear and present danger to our democracy.  THAT is political Hyperbole!!  Trump has made it clear he has full faith and support on our intelligence conclusion.


My question to you is, why is it NOW a concern, when the Obama administration had received multiple warnings from national security officials between 2014 and 2016 that the Kremlin was ramping up its intelligence operations and building disinformation networks it could use to disrupt the U.S. political system, according to more than half a dozen current and former officials.

I believe it is MORE Trump hatred that fuels this crap.....I get it!  YOU guys hate him.

Our relationship with our allies are NOT in jeopardy..that is just more political posturing. 

Also, I agree that Putin is NOT a friend of the US.  Putin is evil, as far as I am concerned.  But, Trump having talks with him isn't a BAD THING. I thought diplomacy is important?  Trump talking to Kim has been more good than bad.  I am not opposed to TRYING to develop a better relationship with Russia, but I am not holding my breath.

For the record, I am not an idiot (though I'm sure disagree) and I especially am not a traitor (that is asinine!).......I know it is your opinion and MY OPINION is that kind of rhetoric is why we are being divided.  There is so much hatred right now....if Trump is as bad as you think, it will reflect in Nov. and he will not be re-elected in 2020.

The extent to which the Russian misinformation campaign worked on a segment of the American population is mind boggling.  Even now, with the knowledge that it was done and that they unwittingly helped by propagating the lies, they continue to do so.  And they call us gullible sheep.   :rolleyes:

You honestly think there is NO corruption by the head of the FBI...you beleive Comey, Strzok, Brennan and McCabe are all squeaky clean?  Do you ever watch FoxNews are do  you just assume it is all bad news?
