Great quote.

Y was the first to use it around these parts as I recall;  I do however profess a fondness for it as it does appear to ever more germane these days.🤔

Of course, because libs would always write swastikas and "die".

I'd like to know how you came up with your conclusion about libs being more violent and nasty natured.  I don't think the libs here expect people to agree with them.  They only expect that if they don't, they have facts on why they don't agree with them.  That there is proof of why they disagree.
Let's see, it's the libs trashing and burning, it's the libs deleting fb friends and family, it's the libs who name call, it's the libs who figure only their sources, even if only theory, are correct, I can go on but I'll stop there.

I've said it before it and I'll say it again.  Every time I think I have seen the top level of stupidity, someone comes and sets the bar higher.

... it's the libs who figure only their sources, even if only theory, are correct,...

And it's the conservatives who fall for, and spread, the majority of fake news. You really have no room to talk about sources when you routinely post unvetted garbage from your inbox as factual.

From that article, in which a fake news creator was interviewed, it states:

Here's another good quote from the story.  Pay attention to the last paragraph.

"Well, this isn't just a Trump-supporter problem. This is a right-wing issue. Sarah Palin's famous blasting of the lamestream media is kind of record and testament to the rise of these kinds of people. The post-fact era is what I would refer to it as. This isn't something that started with Trump. This is something that's been in the works for a while. His whole campaign was this thing of discrediting mainstream media sources, which is one of those dog whistles to his supporters. When we were coming up with headlines it's always kind of about the red meat. Trump really got into the red meat. He knew who his base was. He knew how to feed them a constant diet of this red meat.

We've tried to do similar things to liberals. It just has never worked, it never takes off. You'll get debunked within the first two comments and then the whole thing just kind of fizzles out."

Exactly.

And I'll add to the above by stating another common problem with those "red meat" so-called conservatives, it that you can fact check these fake news articles for them and they STILL believe the fake news over the facts, just because it reinforces their own beliefs and biases.

We've even seen that demonstrated here, and it's more rampant on social media sites like Facebook.

Exactly.  A friend on FB actually deleted my comments when I gave them the fact check sites that disproved their post. (These are sites that provide sources for their facts, so one can look them up.)  Another friend had the same thing happen to them.  All because the facts didn't fit into the poster's belief. Quite sad when someone would rather believe a lie than the truth so they don't need to change their mind.

Absolutely.

Here's another real life analogy: The Blessing Loom going around on social media.

I had a friend post a question about it asking if anyone was doing it. I knew right away it was just another hybrid of the ponzi/pyramid scheme and I posted to her inquiry that it was.

Immediately her friends began driving me saying it wasn't illegal and suggesting I STFU. I simply replied to Google it and the replies came back instantly "google isn't the law".

So I posted several link to the SEC and Attorney General sites addressing the very same issue. Next thing I know my posts were gone.

I did my level best to provide them the information they needed not to be victimized and I was immediately chastised and censored for it. I later saw where two of these idiots had posted links to active Blessing Looms and tagged all of them in postings.

Have you heard of punctuation?  It really helps clarify what you are saying.

Capitalization, too!  It's the difference between helping your uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

In a lot of the graffiti instances they have found it was lib trouble makers that done it rather than Trump people.

Prove it.

I've long noted how quickly bullshit spreads among the right-wing websites and have talked about creating a online alias to feed it.  Looks like I'm not the only one to ever think of it.

But how scary is that?

You can show these nitwits incontrovertible evidence that the things/news/memes they are reading are incorrect, yet they still believe the fake things/news/memes anyway.
