I heard crickets by Obama about healing when Ferguson riots broke out, rather more of an attitude that spurred it!
Same during Trayvon Martin, the Dallas cop killing, and several other incidents.

I am putting the same standards w/Trump...lets condone any violence!  Despite who incites it...but we got to protect our 1st amendment...you can't drive into a crowd no mater who they are...you can't use violence to stop speakers from speaking colleges... say what you will about the GOP.... it has been the progressive crowd leading the pack on senseless violence against our 1st amendment.

Why do I feel like Trump being elected President set in motion something evil .... tipped the scale maybe? ....

No question about it in my mind.

He has been endorsed by hatred and ran a campaign filled with it. What happened today in Charlottesville is just another symptom of the last 11 years of political hatred based upon racism. . .

I've read some of the commentary on social media and it just makes me sick to my stomach. How can so many be so filled with hatred and blind?   Some were actually blaming protestors saying they were blocking the streets, and that the White Supremacists were just rallying in protest of the removal of confederate flags and statues.  :roll eyes:

Civil war is coming folks. . .

Agreed.  Seems like a lot of white men are scared of a future where everyone is truly equal.  Why didn't Trump call out the white supremacists specifically and condemn their actions?  The whole situation saddens me.

Thankfully Ivanka openly condemned the racisim, hate, and Nazism; in direct terms.

Typical racist response.  Don't call out the people responsible for this incident.

From the NY Times: "...this is the same president who routinely mocked and attacked Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for failing to call Islamic radicalism by its name. In Charlottesville, evil has a name, and it is white supremacy"

Over 400,000 Americans of all colors died in WW2, fighting the idea that one race is superior to others.

Anyone who starts trying to deflect or defend the ridiculous behavior of the nazi scum in Charlottesville should be introduced to the nearest WW2 veteran and be prepared to get punched squarely in the face.

They should then apologize to the veteran for thinking so little of their service and sacrifice that they'd support nazis in America.

Here's a man sounding a hell of a lot more "Presidential" than the raging cheeto ever will. Here is a man saying something I agree with 110%:

Quote
ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER·SUNDAY, AUGUST 13, 2017
I have been horrified by the images of Nazis and white supremacists marching in Charlottesville and I was heartbroken that a domestic terrorist took an innocent life. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of Heather Heyer, Lt. Cullen, and Trooper-Pilot Bates.
While these so-called "white nationalists" are lucky to live in a country that defends their right to voice their awful, incorrect, hateful opinions, the rest of us must use our voices and resources to condemn hate and teach tolerance at every opportunity.
My message to them is simple: you will not win. Our voices are louder and stronger. There is no white America - there is only the United States of America. You were not born with these hateful views - you can change, grow, and evolve, and I suggest you start immediately.
Today, I'm sending $100,000 to an anti-hate organization I've worked with for decades - the Simon Wiesenthal Center, named after the great Nazi hunter who I was lucky to call a friend. I have spoken to its founder, Rabbi Marvin Hier, and I know that my contribution can help advance the Center's mission of expanding tolerance through education and fighting hate all over America - in the streets and online. My dream is that all of you will join me in helping your favorite anti-hate organizations in any way you can.
United, we are greater than the hatred we saw this weekend.

Well said Mr Schwarzenegger!  8)

What is not Presidential about these words.....

"We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. It has no place in America.
Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.

No matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God,"
He also stated that....."anyone who acted criminally will be held "fully accountable."

He has already has put Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray to open a civil rights probe into this attack.

That they're days late and he only read these remarks after his handlers explained the repercussions of the growing public backlash.

Bullcrap!  Just minutes after it happened he stated the following: "We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides, on many sides."

It is much better of a response than Obama's when Kathryn Steinle was murdered by an illegal immigrant who already had 7 felony convictions!...by the way, he was SILENT!

Of course he was extremely quick on Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Freddie Gray.....as it turned out, TOO quick.
