The main thing in these VP debates is really "do no harm" regarding your running mate (the presidential candidate).  In that regard, I think they both won.
One of the gravest dangers to the survival of our republic is an ignorant electorate routinely feeding at the trough of propaganda.   -- Locutus

I understand what you're saying, but, considering her schedule, what she was doing as SECRETARY OF STATE, and now against Donald Trump, I would say she is in remarkably good shape. And as for her age, it all depends. Some people are OLD at age 69, while others look and act and feel decades younger. People can retire now at age 65 and draw social security and do as they please, but, as my boss, a medical doctor back in Bluefield, WV once said to me, "Libby, if people retire and sit and rock, they'll die."

Your boss was right, need to keep the mind sharp and the joints moving. 😊 My whole point in all of this has been that Mrs. Clinton does have health concerns and to say she doesn't is either delusional or a lie. Should it disqualify her from running for president, no, but as with all candidates it is something to consider.
Another subject, you can draw social security when you are 62, full retirement is around 67, I think.
Have a great day. I've enjoyed our discussion.

This is awesome!
Yes, it is.  I am not a fan of the variations of the f*** word, especially by people with limited vocabularies, but considering the  :icon_evil: circumstances, in this case I might even consider passing it on to some people I know who think Donald Trump is the better choice for POTUS.

I think they proved who had class and who didn't.
Well, depends on how you define "class." Kaine is a truly decent man who probably listened too much to those who may have coached him. Hillary obviously chose him because she knows she can trust him.

Obama has officially endorsed Clinton saying, "I don't think there's ever been someone so qualified to hold this office."

He speaks the truth.
That's not what he said when running against her.......

Kaine was always one of the democrats I liked. He was more of a moderate and had a sense of humor, seemed like a good guy.........but since he has been nominated, he isn't the same character as he once was.......and especially after the debate, he came off like a creep.  He was robotic with his "catch lines" and was hell bent on saying them.
If it was even possible, but I despise the Clinton ticket even MORE than I did before the debate.

Good.  It'll hurt even more when they win then.

Just for the record, Ex, I was not referring to you or the writer of that gem when I wrote "especially by people with limited vocabularies" -- I was thinking specifically of a young male relative who ... well, I won't go there. Could write a book.

Keeping that in mind, perhaps Kaine's nervousness was because of the level of crooks he is now and will be dealing with. If Hillary wins, he'll learn. I speak from experience. :sneaky:

Are you saying she is in perfect health? Geeze, she is 69, takes warfarin because she had blood clots, not a death sentence, but not healthy either. Pneumonia is serious and the older you are the more serious it is. Just like all politicians she plays like it's all lollipops and roses.

Please point out where anyone said 'she is in perfect health'?

Matter of fact, I'd like you to point out anyone in 'perfect health'.

As far as her age and her schedule/work load, it's obvious she's in good enough health to run for, and hold, the office of President - regardless of your intimations.

BTW, it's been obvious for years that you're one of those women who are against a woman holding the office of President.  Why it is there are women like you with that prejudice is difficult to fathom.

Doesn't give him common sense 'cause ya can't teach that. A medical degree also doesn't make him a smart doctor. There are lots of doctors out there who should have never gotten their degree or license to practice. I don't have to like him just because you do. I don't expect you to dislike him because I don't. You are entitled to your opinion as am I but ya'll seem to forget that.

Whoops!

Weren't you and your RW buds the folks who were supporting Dr. Ben Carson and giving people like me the business because I pointed out that he ascribed to the 'Young Earth' stupidity?

Just a lil' bit hypocritical, don'tcha' think?

Once again, any 'opinion' not based on facts, evidence, and logic is mere bull flop and hence only exists as evidence of the holder's ignorance and stupidity.
