Interesting...i just read that myself.  I wonder why?  It makes it easy for MORE corruption to me...the is a Code Of Conduct For Federal Judges...but somehow, the SCOTUS has excluded themselves to it.  It really doesn't make a lick of sense.

It makes perfect sense.  U.S. judges were created by Congress so Congress can set standards on their conduct.  The Supreme Court was created by the Constitution as a check and balance to the executive and legislative branches that would be compromised if either of those branches could assert control over them.

WTHR is reporting that Pence, (aka the anti Christ) , is indeed Rump's pick for the VP slot.🙄

As if I needed another reason not to vote for him. 😡

CNN is reporting that too.  Looks like Pence is going to be the pick.

As to the Ginsburg conversation, I didn't see these sorts of comments from the Repubs when Scalia was chummy with his hunting buddy Dick Cheney.

Yes and that was a clear conflict of interest as Cheney had a case before the court at the time.  Just another example of conservatives holding others to a set of standards to which they refuse to hold themselves.

He wasn't slamming another person running for POTUS.  You always got to revert to back then....Let's keep it to now.  Wrong is wrong no matter who it is with.

Yep.  That actually makes it worse than Ginsberg's opinion.

IndyStar is flat out confirming Pence is dropping his reelection bid to become Trump's VP pick.

Because, unlike Trump, Cheney had a case before the court at the time the trip occurred.  Can't you see the difference?  Please don't tell my you're as obtuse as 'me' is.

BTW, Hank, that isn't the only thing that Republican appointed justices have engaged in that had potential political overtones.
