The body of the Catalina has been given the Dustless Blasting treatment.  No major surprises, just dents, dings, and minimal rust.  It got a coat of epoxy primer to seal the metal, now the real work begins.  The right rear 1/4 had had the rear half replaced, so it will get some extra attention in an effort to correct a few errors. Not going to re-invent the wheel, just some minor details for longevity.

I'm going to try to get some pics posted as we progress.

How do I post photos now?  I used to use Photobucket, but that is no longer an option.

Can't wait to see the finished product. Cars and guitars are my thing, well then there's music too.

I can't play guitar, so I'll have to make music with the car!

Dude. I had a Catalina that my brother traded me for some hoopty I was driving at the time. He had souped it up, and put a leather interior into it. I loved that car and drove it until the timing chain crapped out. Then I gave it back to my brother, he fixed it, and sold it for a tidy profit. Loved that car as it was a "sleeper" and was often underestimated during weekend cruises. I too would love to see the finished product here. Especially since you are involved. I know you don't do anything unless it is done right. This is going to be a jewel I am sure.

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." -- Upton Sinclair

"Hitler is gone, but if the majority of our fellow citizens are more susceptible to the slogans of fear and race hatred than to those of peaceful accommodation and mutual respect among human beings, our political liberties remain at the mercy of any eloquent and unscrupulous demagogue." -- S. I. Hayakawa
