Had a sloppy joe and chili cheese Fritos for lunch and have a pork loin roast and saurkarut in the slow cooker for supper. Gonna whip up some mashed 'taters to have with it and sit back and watch a good movie.  :yes:

Kept it simple tonight with a one pot wonder. Smoked sausage, 'taters, onions, and bell pepper.

Made some crock pot BBQ chicken yesterday. It was awesome. (Whole chicken, seasoned and dumped into the crock pot whole with some Sweet baby Rays BBQ sauce).

This morning I picked the meat off the left overs, made a pie crust, and presently am awaiting the BBQ chicken pot pie that is baking in the oven. . .

(It's an experimental recipe that I am hoping turns out to be yummy).

Where I'm from, you're not making chicken pot pie, you're making chicken pie.  What I know as pot pie is what you probably  call chicken and dumplings.  Which is a whole other recipe!

That sounds good, PH!! BBQ to me is BBQ mutton and burgoo. Yes, I am from that area of Kentucky. Tonight it is ham, biscuits and gravy for supper.

Green Pepper and egg sandwiches.

I sauté the peppers in a mixture of olive oil and butter, then pour in the scrabbled eggs. Served on toast. YUM!  :yes:

  Went Mexican today for St. Valentines Day.  Had Chimichangas, refried  beans, rice and Margaritas. :drool2:  :food24:   It was our 53rd Valentines day.   :love:
