Celery - Who picked that the first time and thought it would be a good idea to make people eat it?  I had pizza - lots of pizza.  I'm going to have to go to the gym for tread and shed tomorrow morning!!  :spooked:

I need some diet recipes.  Went to the doctor Monday and he  :rant: at me.  My sugar was 253 and I had gained 3 pounds.  being a diabetic is not fun.
So help me out here with some good healthy...and taste good inexpensive meals.

I'm soooo bad.... I just ate 2 turtle brownies.... and have no guilt whatsoever!!! I made it healthy by chasing it with milk.  :wink:  :biggrin:

Smokeycat - I'll see what I can gather today.  Get rid of your white bread, pasta, and sugar - if you are still eating it.  Those easily are broken down into simple sugars in the body.  I'm not a huge fan of brown rice, but I've found that minute rice has microwavable brown rice that isn't so "grainy".  I like Barilla Plus pasta too.  I'll see what I can find.


I was just in the Dollar Store and I came across 4 nice cookbooks.  I'm going to have to test out their recipes.  I believe they were all Better Homes and Gardens books.  Who knew you could find such treasures at the Dollar Store?
