A tamale from that little BBQ where Buckaroo's used to be.  When you first pull into the shopping center off of 53rd St..the one K-Mart used to be in.

It was an old fashioned one with a corn husk around it.  It wasn't bad and it was only a dollar.  I would have liked it spicier..but still was not bad.

I bought hubby a couple of porkchops and some cole slaw.  I took a bite of one of the pork chops..again, not bad.  The cole slaw was GREAT.  Tomorrow I'm going to try one of their BBQ's.  The aroma outside was wonderful.  They were cooking outside in one of those 'barrel' BBQ pit thingies.  If their BBQ tastes even half as good as they smell, they have to be delicious.

Beef stew from the crock pot with potatoes, carrots, broth. Some Hawaiian sweetbread rolls to sop up the juice and a small piece of chocolate cake for dessert.

Pork roast, real mashed potatoes and gravy, and roasted carrots, and chased them with a Coke
