Troll, lets talk about "blind faith".  As a child, I most certainly did have this trait.   I was eager to believe anyting and everything my parents told me and taught me.  I'm sure you did too.  As I grew older, I began to understand exactly what they were teaching me.  It was that "blind" faith I had in them that allowed me to accept the truth.
The same is true with my God.  I have read what He has taught me.  But, it was the implication of those teachings that has built my FAITH.  Over the coarse of years, I have found that my FAITH has kept me on the straight and narrow.  It was personal moments I had experienced throughout my life that has built confirmation to accept there IS a greater being that exists.  GOD.  I don't expect YOU or anyone else to accept it.  I'm cool with that. YOU live YOUR life and I live mine.  THIS works for me and has brought me a great deal of pleasure, peace and confidence.

I would daresay you, like practically every other religious person, have the faith of and believe in the god of your parents as they did theirs.  It's an almost universal given - as well as a prime example of indoctrination.  Adherists are created far more by accident of birth than ever by conversion.

But, my real point here is that the god you and countless others of the world's major religions envision to exist, doesn't - and it can be proven to civil/criminal legal standard.

So let's have some fun with a mental/philosophical exercise and put 'god' on trial.

I'll even give you and any other adherists first go round.  Give me your description of 'god', please note that you've given a start above.

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

"Hitler is gone, but if the majority of our fellow citizens are more susceptible to the slogans of fear and race hatred than to those of peaceful accommodation and mutual respect among human beings, our political liberties remain at the mercy of any eloquent and unscrupulous demagogue." -- S. Why would a 'god' need apologists or apologetics?

Things that make you go "hmmmmmmmmmmmmm?"

I know their god isn't perfect, I've seen many of his mistakes walk and wheeled in the hospital rehab.     Crippled and mentally damaged kids who will never have a real life, they were born that way.
