14 Wacky "Facts" Kids Will Learn in Louisiana's Voucher Schools

If they are held accountable, at least made to show up at a conference (and I if they don't show up after a few attempts then the police or cps should excort them to the conference) then at least the teacher/counselor has a first hand look at what is going on at home. Schools are not supposed to teach things like respect (for adults and self) and restraint. Parents need to teach their children those things. I could go on and on about the lack of parenting, but I won't. My husband says Dr. Spock was the worst thing for children since before child labor laws were passed, and in some ways I agree with him.

That would be a very good starting point since there are some good teachers who can't teach because the kids are so unruly and they have no control.

Just blame the lawyers and the stupid parents.  The kids know you can't touch them let alone chew them out.  You might hurt the little spoiled brats ego.

I wonder how many of the teachers really don't want to teach it but have no choice in the matter.  Surely there are some that know better, well, one would hope so anyway.

What I want to know is when will America stop loving lies enough to once again return to science, logic, fact, evidence...blah blah blah - my usual rant.

Those people are SO scared reality will destroy their fantasies that they are willing to sacrifice their children to save their fantasies. 

And their fantasies are based in fallacy - Appeal to Popularity and Appeal to Belief - that if you believe it, it is so, and the more people that believe it means it's reality/fact.

This country is going clinically insane.
