Nelson Mandela is the ONE human being on the face of this planet, that I would say the term "Harvested" does not apply to surrounding his death. Many African cultures refer to the end of one's life on this planet as transitioning; and I find the term very applicable to the event of Mandela's passing.

He was, in this life, a human being that sacrificed much of himself in order to bring a better quality of life to his fellow countrymen; of every color. He demonstrated what is best in humanity, while enduring the worst of humanity. And he did so with grace and humility, and always with what was best for humanity at the forefront.

Had he achieved success in this endeavor earlier in his life, and been spared 27 years of incarceration, who is to say how much more we, as a species, could have achieved with his guidance.

Humanity still has much to learn surrounding the lessons the life of Nelson Mandela represent. He, on the other hand, is now transitioning to that which is next. And I can only imagine how much greater that next place is because he is now there.
