The Troll

Just what do you do when you are sick and tired of being sick and tired.  The pain medicine doesn't work any more, praying doesn't work.  You are pain every minute of the day and getting worse and people who doesn't know what pain is really like.  Tells you to hang in there, when there is nothing anyone can do.

In states that will allow assisted suicide, many people who are given the medicine to kill themselves don't use it.  But gives them peace of mind and they can die in peace

I watch my dad die in nursing home and my step mother die there too.  My uncle died in a nursing home and didn't know anyone not even himself and he was a mayor in a city in Ohio.  I have no intention  of dying in a nursing home.  Hanging if done right doesn't hurt and Helium is the way to go.  I'm here to tell you I won't die in a nursing home if there is anyway I can keep from it.     :trustme:

Thank you my friend. Your thought provoking and well stated posts are an inspiration to many and whether we agree with them or not doesn't matter. You have an eloquent and innate way of putting your thoughts to text which is seldom seen nowadays. I think your talents are yet to be realized.

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Charles Krauthammer told everyone today, that he will be Harvested in a few short weeks according to his doctors....of an aggressive cancer that has returned.

Didn't even take a few weeks.

Charles Krauthammer has been :reap: HARVESTED :reap:

I don't like to see anyone die from cancer.  But I sure didn't like what he stood for on Fox FAKE News.

Well, I give him credit -- he was a physician and a scholar and loved classical music. I decided he was more than just a republican the day, on Fox News Sunday, that he said, in a quiet thoughtful voice, "Obama could be president."

I agree, but Dr. Krauthammer was more than just another republican who marched to the beat, never questioning. Here's something he said about Trump:
(I found it in some clippings I had saved.) The last sentence says it all.

August 5, 2016: "Donald Trump and the fitness threshold.

"This is beyond narcissism. I used to think Trump was an 11 year old underdeveloped school yard bully. I was off by about 10 years. His needs are more primitive, an infantile hunger for approval and praise, a craving that can never be satisfied. He lives in a cocoon of solipsism where the world outside himself has value - indeed exists - only insofar as it sustains and inflates him. Most politicians seek approval. But Trump lives for the adoration. He doesn't even try to hide it, boasting incessantly about his crowds, his standing ovations, his TV ratings, his primary victories. The latter are more prized because they offer empirical evidence of how loved and admired he is.

Prized also because, in our politics, success is self validating. A candidacy that started out as a joke, as a self aggrandizing exercise in xenophobia, struck a chord in a certain constituency and took off. The joke was on those who believed that he was not a serious man and therefore would not be taken seriously. They - and myself emphatically included - were wrong.

Krauthammer sure right on this opinion.  He sure found the black heart of this jerk.

Hey, Duke!  Love that 'Little Lady' song of yours!

That  was /is a good darn song. I always like the album titled "White Knuckle Ride"
One can drive different meanings from that title.  I can remember in my younger days when Ole'  Duke got out of line, me dad could straighten me up with a white knuckle ride so to speak.

Best regards,
