Well smart ass it was correct when I posted that so stick it up your ass.

What a dumbass!

Let's look carefully at what you wrote.

"Only because of the electoral college he didn't get the popular vote."

Were you assuming the election was over at that point? Or maybe you were too busy bowing to the idiots on Fox who refused to call it on Ohio after everyone else was broadcasting the truth?

Well, well. I just looked it up. You posted that LIE at 1:03:42 AM.

Here is a video of the idiots at Fox just falling apart over calling Ohio for Obama. This happened around 11:30 PM. An hour and a half before your lie.

Notice the popular vote tally on the screen.

And that is why she posts what bullshit she does.

She believes all of what Faux News tells her, and then only gets about 30% of that correctly.

I repeat -- what she says is irrelevant.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

That was amazing, was it not?  Ole' Turd Blossom tried his best to say that everyone else was wrong besides him.  :rotfl:  Megan Kelly even went to the war room to try and figure out WTF was going on, and their own people told them they were 99.95% confident Ohio was going for Obama.

This brings up a good point, and I hope it's one HH and 'me' take to heart.  Fox News is the absolute worst place to get anything resembling reality.  As has been pointed out before, if they don't like the real news, they'll just spin it into something that they know is more along the lines of what their viewers want to hear.

In the days leading to the election, every poll, save Rasmussen, showed Obama with a lead in key swing states.  The accuracy of those polls came to light on election night as the results came in.  However, Fox didn't like the pre-election polling, so all of a sudden, they start reporting that the polls are biased.  Democrats are being oversampled; they're basing polling on 2008 numbers; yada yada!  All the polls, save theirs, were wrong.

When Fox called Ohio for Obama, thus sealing his reelection, Karl Rove went bananas.  How could this be?  How could this be?  It's almost like they listen to their own BS so much, that it has to be true, even though they're the only ones saying it.

That, added to the fact that about half of this country listens to that crap, and believes it to be true, it really becomes a recipe for disaster.  If Fox really wanted to elect Romney, which they did, wouldn't it have been far better for them to just tell the truth about the polling, rather than to lie to their viewers (including HH), thus making them feel good about what was going to happen election night?  HH even predicted a Romney landslide somewhere around here based in large measure on that very programming.

Isn't that dangerous for the country?  It's fitting that this post about Fox is being made on the TUZ flat out lie tracker thread, because that's exactly what comes out of the majority of Fox's programming.  Lies.

If Fox would have told their viewers the truth, then they would have had a chance to get into action and do something about it.  They could have volunteered, manned the phones, participated in "Get Out the Vote!" efforts.  The viewers didn't do that though.  They sat around, and believed Fox News, and we got the result that every other polling organization was predicting.  Half the nation awakened Wednesday morning absolutely stupefied because Obama had been reelected.  But those of us who don't get a heaping helping of Fox's propaganda weren't surprised at all.  We expected it.  The polls showed it.  Obama has four more years.

Fox News is dangerous; people who watch Fox News are dangerous.

Locutus,
This is directed solely at you.  I take these words to heart, and I appreciate them.  But, I must say, I honestly do not watch foxnews anymore than I do MSNBC.  Now, don't get me wrong, I like some folks at fox, and I am NOT a fan of many people on MSNBC, but I watch them for the same reasons I come here.  The saying keep my friends close and my enemies closer has always seemed to be a way of understanding.

I 100% agree that Fox and company, got it wrong.  Dick Morris in particular was cocksure it would be a landslide victory for Romney.  He even had a somewhat logical approach to his madness.

Not that he will ever read it, but I fired off an email to him stating that I was forever through with him.  He blew it and I for one will no longer engage in anything he has to say.

There are folks like Hannity who was cautiously optimistic, but feared exactly what did happen.  He was the one saying not to take any poll serious, but get out and vote.  That was also my approach.  Polls were all over the place, some, now that it is over can claim victory, but the only poll that ever matters is the one that we cast on election day.

As far as listening to any news on TV, I don't think ANY of them are trustworthy, the all are driven by some political ideology.  I take about half of what is out there as the truth.

Yes, I post stuff on here, more times than not, for the conversation that will be driven from it.

To address the ignorant being dangerous to our republic, PLEASE don't make the claim that it is only by the RW followers, or you will lose me, and show to a degree of your own ignorance.  I know for a fact, that the ignorant is blind to the truth and there are many, many on the left that fit that to a tee...who fall for the propaganda that is spewed by both sides.

I still stand strong on the basic principals of conservatism.  I have over the recent years left my Christian values at home and away from politics.  Though I am 100% against abortion, I am to the conclusion as long as federal dollars never assists in the aiding of it, I think it is up to the state to decide.  Gay marriage is at the bottom of my worries on the political totem poll.  I can honestly care less what anybody else does, as long it does not affect my family.  Again, I say leave it to the State to decide.

While I am on a rambling session, I think Mitt Romney is not the evil, lying, tax-cheating, woman-hating person the left spun him to be.  No more than Obama is a muslim, socialist, white-man hating person.

I think Obama has the opportunity to be great, despite which side of the issues I believe.  It is up to him, to lead us and congress, to make this a better place to live.  I do not seem him accomplishing this, but as I have said before on here, I want what is best for my family and Country.

Okay, sorry for the extended ramble....just got on a roll there.

Had you been watching something other than Fux News, you would have seen that Romney winning the overall popular vote wasn't possible given the outstanding counties in battleground states at the time you made that post.  It's why we constantly say around here, over and over, time and again, that Fux News does nothing but tell people what they want to hear.  They have no interest in the truth.
I'd say it had more to do with the time frame 'cause I wasn't watching Fox News.
