She can't tell the truth. Not because she shouldn't for the truth's sake, but because the person who set this up, did it to burn Gibbs.

I think it was the cartel lady. She set it up w/the Mexican guy. Wait! Who was showing him around NCIS and introduced him to Abbey to begin with? I can't remember, but I bet she's on the inside pulling the strings to get paid by the cartel. They don't want to end his career, they want to end his life.

They want us to think it was Leon, but I think he's one of the good guys.

It's just all the irony in the whole situation, and the conflicts with the job. its policies, the law, and the obvious mutual love for each other between Abbey and Gibbs. The series keeps bringing up this incident, and I have to believe that perhaps this time some finality will be brought to the whole messy situation.

Could be an interesting day here tomorrow.  Hubby's sister is coming from Mi for a visit and she and her hubby are staunch Dem's and she told Ron she was going to have to have a "talk" with him....LOL  She is a retired high school teacher and I guess she's gonna pull out all her teaching tricks....hehehe  Ain't gonna work... :no:  In spite of her politics though she is a great person and a lot of fun.

Um, it's hubby's sister, she's from Indiana as well as her husband.  She taught at Madison Heights.  The only reason they moved to Mi was for her husbands job or they would still live here in Anderson.  :razz:

The attorney, with dark hair, I can't remember her name, but she was in an episode quite a while ago, reappeared in an episode the week before last (Obsession). Vance gave her temporary employee status so that she could represent the Mexican guy as his attorney. She was showing him around and took him down to the lab and tried to coerce Abbey into giving him a tour. Abbey nicely, but firmly told them to go away (a couple times). In that episode, when they were in Vance's office and Gibbs walked in and they were explaining to Gibbs what was going on and Vance seemed to be having fun w/the fact that Gibbs doesn't care much for the lady lawyer, she mentioned that she knows the Mexican guy from Mexico City. They're trying to make it look like Vance is out to get Gibbs, but I think it's the drug cartel and this woman/lawyer is coordinating everything.

Let's wait and see   :pop:

And maybe that Mexican law enforcement guy is also in on it too. . . Humm. . . sounds plausible to me. . .

Things have heated up twixt Gibbs and that lawyer, and by that I mean in the flirty - teasing way from time to time. . . I actually thought they may end up boinking at some point, but now that you've presented this little scenario I now suspect the writers did that to mislead and divert attention from her real purpose. . . :smile: :yes:

Now I cannot wait until Tuesday. . . and you think this next episode will be the season finale?  :spooked:

I hope not!  But I have the entire season DVRed even though they show the old programs on USA, I still like having that safety net for when there's nothing else to watch. ;D

Do  you like the LA version? I really didn't (although I do like to look at the male leads :sneaky:) but Hetty is growing on me and it seems like the story line is getting better.
