I had a go at one of my convervative Facebook friends who usually posts the daily Fox News talking points directly on her wall.  She's clearly nuts, as she was trying to defend Pat Robertson for his recent remarks about the Haitian earthquake.  Nobody ever challenges her on the BS that she posts, but the other day, I was feeling a bit feisty and decided to take her on.  I basically used the written word to point out that she's an asshole without actually coming out and saying that. 

Since then, I've received three private messages from relatives of hers (who I don't even know) thanking me for doing what I did and offering support for my remarks.  Apparently, they don't like her views too much either.  :rotfl:

Kudos Loc! It takes every bit of will power I have sometimes. I've invited a couple people here so that I can challenge them here rather than in front of friends and family (although it shouldn't surprise them ;D). I don't think anyone has taken me up on it.

I'm amazed at how many people have contacted me thus far behind the scenes in support of what I said to her.  I'm still responding to the private messages.  Sometimes, when even replying to the messages, someone will open up a chat and offer their support.  :biggrin:
