i have walked 125 miles since march 30.  wow.  go me.  i walked 130 last summer (the first being in january on an oddly warm day...).  i'm going to beat last year.  wow. 
don't threaten me with a good time.

When I was much,much,younger, I used to walk 2 miles a day. That was a very long time ago. Like 20 years ago LOL!!! They say that the walking you do at your job doesn't count, but I beg to differ. I've been at my job for 5 years ,and I've dropped 120 pounds. I've never changed my diet so, I think it's from the job. I'm no longer huge, just pleasingly plump.  :biggrin:

vxn does not do well in the humidity.  i can't breathe.  this sucks.  (no actual break in heat til thursday--and only by a few degrees--then back to unbearable.)

Another 4th down the tubes and reality smacks me right in the chops on arrival for my indentured slavery duty this evening. . .  :rant:

On the plus side, we have an excellent vantage point for the casino fireworks as well as the VFW show that was put on for Saturday evening. From the observation deck we also had a great view of the Chesterfield display on Friday night.

In addition, my wife and I sprung for a boat-load of mortars and various 300 shot saturn missle displays. And, while we had to spend 2.5 hours on Saturday morning cleaning up the disaster zone the exploded ordinance created, it did provide an opportunity for many of our new neighbors to stop by and thank us for the "excellent show / display" we put on ourselves after the casino was finished.  :smile:

We had one of those 300 shot saturn missile displays too. Man, those things really scream. :spooked: Are fireworks like those legal in Indiana? Nothings legal in Illinois. :-\  It doesn't stop us though. :thumbsup:

 Well, I went and got my Tetanus shot tonight. No fear of Lockjaw for me.  :biggrin: I'm covered for at least 5 years from animal bites, and 10 years from everything else. :yes:

Yep legal here. I had about 10 of them and lit 2 at a time. It made the neighbors giddy!  :biggrin:

poor pugsly.   :'(

my neighbor put on a nice display. (all illegal.  lol.)  then was nice enough to bring some roamn candles over for my little devils.  (and in return they invited his sons over for popsicles--and one for their mom--she's pregnant.  i have been informed that unborn babies love popsicles.  well, that's what my oldest son tells me.)
