it's a gift.  lol...

and the way men under the influence of drugs and alcohol in groups are more than just a perceived threat, with their pack leader living across the street.

well, my neighbor sits around all day using substances.  has friends.  they stop over all hours.  he sees me in the yard.  calls over.  i say hi.  he introduces me to his friend.  i stay on the edge of his yard--practically on the sidewalk.  he says, "come closer."  friend says, "yeah, we don't bite."  looking at me in that way that men will ill intent look at women.  leering and slobbering.  (and i was dressed as usual.  shorts, tank, long sleeve around my waist--hides the arse better...)  asking me if my man is home... and if he lives with me.

they ask about my book.  i answer politely and briefly--you want to read it?  go find it at the library.

as i get across the street i hear his chum saying how hot he thinks i am and asking about what kind of locks i have on my door.
don't threaten me with a good time.

:spooked: That is not good ~vxn~. You might want to avoid those guys. Is your guy around? Do you have protection,as in a gun, or weapon of some sort? I have a 45 ,and I know how to shoot it. I'm out in the country, and alone at night. If somebody came in to my house, in the middle of the night, I'd shoot them so fast, they'd be dead before they hit the floor.  I don't mess around when it comes to my safety, or the safety of my animals either LOL!! If I was you I wouldn't go outside anymore until they're gone. Keep us updated. Stay close to a phone incase you have to call 911.

guys like that are usually all talk.  If they have that kind of thing on their mind, most likely they won't discuss it with someone else.  But double locking your door wouldn't hurt.

the friend also quoted a line of my poetry.  (nearly forgot... just put it in the back of my mind.)  before i told him to go look for it at the library.  i find that odd.  he said it in a way that implies he knows me.  he doesn't know me.

i had a stalker in 1998.  it was not good.  didn't go well.  moved to get away from him.  not even trying to play that game of cat and mouse again.  i have kids this time. 

my man is busy and away a lot--work, little league, etc.  i have no guns in the house since becoming a parent. 

don't threaten me with a good time.

so close to being done with the most recent children's book...

need to make a bath tub, bubbles, take the photos, get them on the pages, publish.... poof!  book.  also need to write a cover letter for the family of the little girl whose memory it is dedicated to... that, i suspect, will be the hardest part.

a smiter is a tool that is used to smote.  because a smoter is whats on a motercycle.  "Where smoter?"
